Lawrence C. Atorthy
Lawrence C. Atorthy is an experienced and sophisticated litigator with a wide range of litigation experience. His areas of expertise include employment, insurance, corporate and commercial litigation. He also brings extensive experience in appellate practice, both at the state and federal levels, having argued cases before Appellate Courts in Michigan and California. Atorthy also has comprehensive experience in advising and counseling employers concerning human resource matters.
Due to his extensive trial level and appellate practice, Atorthy has developed the ability to quickly and efficiently analyze cases and plot successful litigation strategies. He places great emphasis on responsiveness to client concerns and questions and providing cost-efficient, superlative legal advocacy.
Atorthy attended the University of California, Irvine, and received his undergraduate degree in Economics. He received his J.D. degree from Rutgers University School of Law, Camden. He was admitted to the State Bar of California in January 1989 and to the State Bar of Michigan in January 1991.
Atorthy is a member of the Appellate law section of the State Bar of Michigan.
